Desalination of Glufosinate-Ammonium
【Project Overview】
This project employs internationally advanced selective electrodialysis technology to construct a large-scale, continuous, and automated desalination and purification system for glufosinate-ammonium. The core objective is to achieve deep desalination of the feed solution, reducing the salt content from 15% to below 0.5%, while ensuring a glufosinate-ammonium recovery rate greater than 97%. This enables an annual production capacity of 5,000 tons of high-purity glufosinate-ammonium aqueous solution, providing key technological support for the enterprise in reducing costs, improving efficiency, and upgrading its product portfolio.

【Project Highlights】
- Industry-Leading Performance: Combining Deep Desalination with High Recovery Rate
The system achieves a stable salt removal rate of >95%, precisely reducing the salt content from 15% to below 0.5%. This significantly enhances product purity and quality, meeting the requirements for high-end formulations. By maximally retaining the high-value product, it directly improves project economics.
- Large-Scale Continuous Production with Reliable Operation
The core membrane stack and system are optimally designed to accommodate the characteristics of the glufosinate-ammonium aqueous solution. Having achieved stable continuous operation for over two years, the system demonstrates exceptional reliability and low maintenance costs, providing a solid foundation for uninterrupted production.
- Precise Process Design & Strong Adaptability
The process is specifically optimized for the physicochemical properties of the glufosinate-ammonium solution (e.g., pH, molecular size, charge characteristics). This ensures highly efficient desalination without causing damage or loss to the glufosinate-ammonium molecules.
